On August 17, 1911, Matilde Moisant’s F.A.I. Airplane Pilot’s Certificate no. 44 was officially dated by the Aero Club of America. This certification not only corroborated her earlier achievement but also solidified her place in aviation history as the second woman to receive such recognition in the United States.
