On November 13, 2015, Chantal Petitclerc was formally inducted into the Canadian Paralympic Hall of Fame in the athlete category, an honor recognizing her outstanding career achievements in wheelchair racing.
This induction celebrated her full body of work across five Paralympic Games (1992–2008), during which she amassed 21 Paralympic medals, 14 of them gold, along with numerous world records in T54 track events. The Hall of Fame induction served as a formal, institutional acknowledgment of her status as one of the greatest Paralympians in Canadian—and world—history.
