On May 24, 2005, Margaret G. Kivelson was awarded the John Adam Fleming Medal by the American Geophysical Union during the Spring Honors Ceremony in New Orleans. This recognition was for her exceptional contributions to geomagnetism and space physics, fields in which she led original research and exhibited technical expertise.
