On March 8, 2022, coinciding with International Women's Day, the Patent and Standards Center at RWTH Aachen University Library in Germany selected Ann Tsukamoto's "Human Hematopoietic Stem Cell" patent as its featured "Patent of the Month." This recognition highlighted her pioneering role in discovering and isolating human blood-forming stem cells decades earlier.
